3 Bathroom Considerations When Having An Outdoor Wedding

If you are having an outdoor wedding at a location that doesn't have any toilets accessible or if there are not enough toilets for your guests to use, you are going to need to rent portable restrooms for your wedding. Here are three things to consider as you decide what type of portable restrooms you want to rent.

#1 Physical Needs Of Your Guests

One of the first things that you need to take into consideration is the physical needs of your guests. Do any of your guests use a wheelchair to get around? Do any of your guests require the use of a cane or a walker in order to walk around? If you have guests that use any sort of mobility advice, you can't just rent standard, small blue portable toilets.  You need to make sure that you rent restrooms that are handicap accessible.

#2 Needs Of The Little Ones

If you are allowing children at your wedding, that means that you also allowing babies and toddlers who have diapers that are going to need to be changed during your wedding. If you don't want your wedding guests just throwing down a towel and changing their baby wherever they find an open space, you are going to need to make sure that your restrooms provide baby changing tables.

For baby changing tables, you will most likely need to rent a family-style restroom. These restrooms are great for families with babies as well as for families with children who need a little assistance with using the restroom. This will provide them with the space they need.

#3 Hand Cleaning

If you are going to be serving food at your wedding, you want to make sure that guests are able to properly wash, and not just sanitize, their hands after they use the restroom. If there are no outside hand washing stations at the site that you are renting, you are going to want to rent larger portable restrooms that include sinks where your guests can wash their hands after using the restroom.

You can rent simple portable bathrooms with plastic sinks that provide water by pressing on a button on the floor, or you can rent more fancy portable restrooms that have more of a traditional bathroom feel, with a regular sink for handwashing.

If you are having an outside wedding and need to rent portable restrooms, make sure that they serve the needs of all of your guests and provide them with a place to wash their hands after using the restroom.
